The Leeds Pride marketplace offers an excellent opportunity to connect with thousands of attendees.

The Marketplace forms an integral part of the Leeds Pride site and is aimed to showcase local traders, charities, community groups and food outlets. All market stalls are located at the southern entrance of the site, over Leeds Bridge.
With huge numbers of visitors throughout the day, a stall at Leeds Pride is a great opportunity to sell your wares. Please note we have very limited places available and submitting an application does not automatically guarantee your place. We will email all successful applications.

Market Stalls & Pitches

All Market Stall Holders will be allocated a 2.5m x 1.5m covered stall which includes a table. These stalls will offer you a dedicated space to showcase your products, engage with attendees and promote your services during the event. As a stall holder, you will have the opportunity to connect with a diverse audience and participate in the vibrant atmosphere of Leeds Pride. We encourage you to personalise your stall with decorations that reflect your brand and message. Please prepare to bring any additional materials or displays necessary to enhance your stall.

Pitch space is also available across the site. Please note applicants must provide their own infrastructure within their allocated pitch space.

PLEASE NOTE, NO ELECTRIC IS PROVIDED TO THE MARKET STALL AREA.

FOOD VENDOR PITCH

Pitch only – infrastructure to be provided by yourselves e.g. food van

We invite food vendors to submit their proposals for Leeds Pride 2025. Please note that this is a pitch-only opportunity; successful vendors will be responsible for providing their own infrastructure, including food vans, equipment and any necessary supplies.

Your pitch should showcase your unique offerings, including menu items, pricing, and any special themes to attract attendees. Consider highlighting how your food aligns with the event’s vibe and enhances the overall experience for guests.

PLEASE NOTE ALL ENERGY MUST BE SUPPLIED BY LEEDS PRIDE – applicants will not be permitted to bring any generators on to the site.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Set up on the day of the event can commence at 8:30AM and must be completed by 10:30AM at the latest. Please note that arrivals after 10:00AM will not be permitted. If you require vehicle access for setup, please reach out to us in advance.
The market area will be subject to a road closure starting at 6:00 AM that day, resulting in limited vehicle access for setup. Vehicles that do not have a permit will not be allowed on site. A permit will only permit unloading and you must vacate the area promptly, no later than 10:30 AM.
Please be aware that a vehicle pass does not permit parking in the setup area. The closest parking is Trinity Leeds Car Park, located on Swinegate, Leeds LS1 4AG.

Please remember to bring your own chairs. The exact location of your food vendor stand or stall will be assigned to you on the day of the event, and we are unable to accommodate individual requests for specific placements.
Food vendors are required to remain on site until at least 10:30 PM. Vendors must stay within their designated area at all times.

Items like fireworks, flammable goods, welding, flares, smoke flares, glitter guns, sparklers, and similar items are prohibited due to potential crowd safety concerns, including panic and crushes. Clear communication of these restrictions is crucial to all group members on the day and beforehand.

We cannot allow, under any circumstances, the following to be sold-
• Knives or anything that could be construed as a weapon or a replica weapon
• Any illegal or controlled substances
• Alcohol, cigarettes or tobacco products of any description
• Illegal copies of records, CDs, videos or tape recordings
• Lit candles, torches, flares, wands or any item that may constitute a fire hazard or cause injury
Any stall holder found to be selling these items will be removed from the site and no refund will be given.

If you are intending to sell food from your stall, we will need a copy of your food hygiene certificate.
Please make sure you have a copy of this certificate with you on the day for inspection, if required.

Our security and stewards will be present on-site throughout the day. However, we cannot ensure the safety of any goods left unattended at your stall.
Any items you choose to leave will be at your own risk. We are not liable for any theft or damage that may happen to any items or equipment within the Leeds Pride site.
