Leeds Pride 2024
Bolder, brighter and bigger than ever! Leeds Pride 2024 promises to be our best pride celebration to date. We are proud to announce that Leeds Pride 2024 will return on Sunday 21st July!
Leeds Pride is one of the biggest one-day festivals in Leeds City Centre! It has undoubtedly become a huge contributor to the local economy with over 60,000 choosing to visit last year, and attendance numbers are growing every year! This makes Leeds Pride a commercial hotbed of opportunity not only for the local businesses or independent vendors that want to identify with our fantastic community, but also for national brands, charities, and corporations that want to reach out and show support for this vibrant and important social celebration.
What defines the Leeds Pride’s spirit?
We believe it is all about being community driven. We are run by a team of skilled and dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to keep this event completely free for all who wish to attend. We manage this through our efforts in fundraising and sponsorship outreach, ensuring we can make the event bigger, bolder and more fabulous year on year.
Last year saw the biggest ever parade with over 167 organisations in attendance throughout the day. Leeds Pride now attracts people from all over the UK and overseas, whilst still remaining free for all to attend. We are proud that our event takes place in the heart of our amazing city.
What’s new for 2024?
We plan to add additional pride related events in the week running up to the main day, all which will be announced over the next few months.
Our current aim is to spread the word regarding the new date to all future attendees, allowing visitors and supporting businesses to plan ahead.
