Leeds Youth Service is delighted to once again be part of Leeds Pride on Sunday 19 July, providing advice, support and a welcoming space for young people throughout the day.
This year, Leeds Youth Service will be operating from a single location at the Corn Exchange, where the team will be available from 8:30am until 10:00pm.
Staff and Youth Workers will be on hand throughout the day to offer support to anyone who may need it, whether that’s information and advice, a listening ear, guidance on local services, or simply a safe and friendly space to take a break from the celebrations.
Leeds Youth Service works with young people across the city, helping them to develop confidence, build positive relationships and access opportunities that support their personal development and wellbeing. Through outreach work, youth activities and one-to-one support, the service empowers young people to reach their potential and make informed choices about their lives.
The team will be bringing one of their Mobile Youth Service buses, packed with resources and information designed to support young people. Alongside the bus provision, Youth Workers will be engaging with young people across the city centre, providing support where needed and directing individuals to the Corn Exchange location for further assistance.
Leeds Youth Service is proud to be part of Leeds Pride and to support an event that celebrates inclusion, diversity and community. The team looks forward to helping ensure that young people have a safe, enjoyable and empowering day of celebration.
If you need support during Leeds Pride, visit the Leeds Youth Service team at the Corn Exchange between 8:30am and 10:00pm and speak to a member of staff..
